A 2-alarm row house fire in Camden early Thursday morning is under investigation.

Flames broke out at about 6:15 a.m. along the 700 block of State Street in Camden, New Jersey.

The fire spread to neighboring homes and quickly went to a second alarm.

Firefighters were able to place the flames under control.

The home was vacant at the time, but investigators say they have not ruled out squatters having been there.

The cause is under investigation.

There were no injuries.
