Man charged in double murder

WILMINGTON, De. - October 1, 2009 Both men were killed in a vehicle on September 1, 2008 in the 700 block of E. 10th Street at approximately 8:30 p.m.

Michael T. Washington of the 500 block of Barrett Street was indicted by a New Castle County Grand Jury on Monday and was officially charged with the murders on Wednesday.

He is currently serving a sentence in the James T. Vaughn Correction Institute in Smyrna on an unrelated charge.
