TD Bank Update

TD Bank tells Action News of Wednesday morning, all account balances are up to date.

It also says transactions are now posting at their normal times.

TD Bank says, it's "cautiously optimistic customers should not expect any more delays."

This is, of course, a follow-up to the computer glitch from last week that delayed deposits from posting to customer accounts.

Holiday Airline Travel</p>

If you're planning to fly right around the holidays, better pinch your pennies right now.

Several major airlines are adding a $10 surcharge for travel on busy days around the holidays.

Last month, airlines added the charge to flights on the Sunday after Thanksgiving as well as January 2 and 3.

Now they've extended those fees to ten other days around the holidays.

However, discounters like Southwest appear to be avoiding the surcharges at least for now.

K-Mart Layaway

K-Mart has launched an online layaway program so you can spread your payments out over time, but still shop in cyberspace for the holiday shopping season.

The retailer's new program lets you make purchases and manage layaway payments online, but still pick up items at your local store.

K-Mart says it's seen double-digit increases in layaway sales.
