The woman was driving on Kelly Drive, crossed the Ben Franklin Parkway and knocked down a traffic light and two street lights before coming to rest near the Washington Memorial Statue at Eakins Oval. The impact of the crash caused wires to fall down onto the parkway.
The impact of the crash also caused damage to the park near the statue.
There is no word yet on any charges or what caused the woman to lose control.
