Flames were first reported around 12:29 p.m. at a warehouse located at Rising Sun Avenue and Adams Avenue.
When they arrived firefighters observed smoke. However, heavy fire then broke out on the top floor.
A second alarm was called in to assist.
The fire occurred in a 3-story vacant building behind the Jerusalem Furniture store.
The fire was placed under control at 1:09 p.m
The Fire Marshal is investigating. No injuries were reported.
