Police say Dana Martino, 39, was working at the BJ's Wholesale store when she was struck around 9:00 a.m.
According to investigators, she was hit by a beer delivery truck driven by Frank Pragg, 49.
Martino, of Penn Acres, was hit in the 100 block of Sunset Boulevard, which runs through the New Castle Famers Market and Airport Plaza Shopping Center.
She was declared dead at the scene.
There is no word yet on any charges.
The investigation continues.
