Eighteen-year-old Arthur Alston is scheduled to be sentenced Thursday for his role in the death of Sean Patrick Conroy in March 2008.
Authorities say the 36-year-old Conroy suffered a stress-induced asthma attack during the beating.
Alston and another teen pleaded guilty to third-degree murder in the case. Two others were convicted of third-degree murder and a third was convicted of involuntary manslaughter.
Investigators say the teens randomly attacked Conroy after they cut school.
