Pa. man pleads guilty to Mass. child sex crimes

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (AP) - December 30, 2009

Prosecutors say 27-year-old Jonathan Green of Reading, Pa., was convicted in federal court in Springfield on Tuesday of sexual exploitation of a child and traveling with intent to engage in illicit sexual conduct.

Prosecutors say Green met the South Hadley boy on the Internet in the summer of 2007, and persuaded him to make and send a sexually explicit video.

Authorities say in August 2007, Green traveled to South Hadley with the intent of having sex with the boy. Although the two spent several hours outside, Green did not follow through on his plans.

He faces a maximum of 60 years in prison at sentencing on March 25.
