Oregon state troopers feared the worst when a stuffed bear was found at the front door of the State Police office in Albany.
Workers arriving Monday morning worried there might have been a bomb in the bear.
The building was evacuated and bomb squad dispatched.
After an X-ray examination, the experts concluded the teddy bear was innocent.
