Thirty-year-old Dallas Drummond was arrested Friday. He's been charged with two counts of first-degree rape and is being held in default of a $100,000 cash-only bond.
Police received a complaint April 12 that Drummond had sex with the 8-year-old while she was left in his care last year.
According to the Delaware Sex Offender Registry, Drummond was convicted in 1998 of third-degree unlawful sexual contact without consent of a victim age 18 or above.
