Officers say the girl was found around 2:15 a.m. Monday walking along the 4100 block of Germantown Avenue in the Tioga section of the city.
Someone spotted the child and warmed her in a car while waiting for police to arrive. The child appeared to be in good health and was cared for by the city's Department of Human Services until her parents arrived. Police say the child simply wandered out of the house.
