That's what David Davis did - but he was wrong.
Davis has been reunited with his missing wallet - complete with his driver's license, credit and debit cards - and the more than $170 in cash he had in it when he lost it.
It was found last week by a group of credit-union workers picking up litter along an Utah highway.
Davis says he lost it after leaving it on a personal watercraft he was hauling.
