Rescue crews were dispatched to the Girard Point Bridge for a report of a fall victim around 2:00 p.m. Wednesday.
When they arrived, they found that a man working for Liberty Painting fell into the northbound lanes of I-95.
The victim was on the lower deck of the Girard Point Bridge, which carries northbound traffic.
The worker may have plunged about 40 feet to the road. There is no word on the worker's condition.
All northbound lanes were closed.
