Gov. Jack Markell signed a new bill Saturday that will increase the number of brew pubs that can be owned by a single person from two to three. Under current law, that same person also can own an interest in a microbrewery.
The bill also allows onsite consumption of beer made on the premises of a microbrewery, similar to onsite consumption allowed at Delaware wineries.
The bill signing ceremony was held at the Dogfish Head Brewery in Milton.
