It happened around 6:15 p.m. at Randolph and Venango streets.
Reports indicate a 17-year-old boy was stabbed in the chest.
He was rushed by medics to Saint Christopher's Hospital for Children for treatment.
The suspected stabber fled the scene and remains at large.
