Hundreds of people joined religious leaders yesterday in Southern California for the third annual Blessing of the Waves.
Along with priests and a rabbi on surfboards, there were representatives from the Mormon, Islamic and Zoroastrian faiths.
Tongan and Samoan choirs took part, too.
The event is organized by the Roman Catholic Diocese of Orange County.
Organizers say they want to honor the ocean and protest pollution.
