Judge tosses charge in alleged celebrity burglary

LOS ANGELES (AP) - November 19, 2010

Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Larry Paul Fidler dismissed a felony burglary charge against Rachel Lee during a hearing on Friday.

He ruled that a grand jury that indicted Lee was not given enough evidence to support the burglary count. He indicated that prosecutors may have enough evidence to support a charge that Lee received a fur coat stolen from the "Mean Girls" star's Hollywood Hills home in August 2009.

The judge noted that no one positively identified Lee as one of the people seen on surveillance footage. She still faces a charge she burglarized the home of "The Hills" star Audrina Patridge.
