The 24th District Police officer was responding to a call when his car collided with a black Infiniti at the intersection of G and East Erie Streets in Hunting Park striking a third car.
A 7 year old boy was rushed to Children's Hospital after being ejected from one of the cars. He is in stable condition.
The police officer and two others were taken to Temple Hospital. All are listed in stable condition.
