NJ Sen. Sarlo target of robocalls

TRENTON, N.J. - December 23, 2010

The calls accuse Sarlo of blocking Christie's reform agenda to reduce property taxes and tells listeners to call Sarlo's legislative office.

Christie has struck down parts of a bill Sarlo sponsored to limit sick leave payouts for public workers to $15,000 because Christie wants to make it more strict.

Sarlo says he doesn't plan to revisit the bill. He thinks the robocalls will backfire because no one wants to hear them around the holidays.
