Charges are expected in the case of an 8-year-old accused of shooting his 4-year-old cousin.

According to police, those charges will be filed against at least one adult who was at the home when the shooting happened.

It happened inside a house in the 5000 block of Homestead Street in Northeast Philadelphia around 10:00 a.m. Saturday.

Investigators say the children were playing video games when they found a loaded gun under the couch.

The children apparently began playing with the weapon when it went off.

The 4-year-old was rushed to the hospital with a gunshot wound. He is now recovering at St. Christopher's Hospital for Children.
