Philadelphia police are searching for the driver who struck a 4-year-old boy without stopping in the city's Frankford section.

It happened around 8:20 a.m. Friday in the 1600 block of Pratt.

Police say the child was leaving his home with his father when he darted out into traffic from between two parked vehicles and was struck by a silver Lincoln Town Car.

The vehicle continued westbound on Pratt.

Medics took the boy to St. Christopher's Hospital for children where, police say, he suffered a broken nose and broken jaw.

If you have any information, submit a tip to the Philadelphia Police Department.
