Officer injured in Northeast Philadelphia crash

Police are investigating a crash involving one of their own in Northeast Philadelphia this afternoon.

UPDATE: Store owner fights back cross-dressing thieves

The officer was pursuing an armed robbery suspect when she lost control and crashed into a parked car around 3:30 p.m.

The accident occurred at Robbins and Eastwood streets where officials say the officer lost control and struck a parked car and a fence.

The officer was taken to Aria Hospital's Frankford Campus in stable condition.
