Free skin cancer screenings at Drexel College of Medicine

PHILADELPHIA, PA.; May 25, 2011

Drexel University College of Medicine is offering the screenings on Thursday, May 26th, from 9 to 11 A.M.

Dermatologists and medical residents will be at 219 North Broad Street, on the 4th floor.

No appointment is necessary.

According to the American Academy of Dermatology, every year millions of people are diagnosed with various forms of skin cancers.

Nearly every hour, someone dies of melanoma, a deadly but treatable form of skin cancer. When caught in its early stages, melanoma is nearly 100 percent curable.
