A ramp connecting a well-traveled Philadelphia-area bridge to Interstate 95 is open again after buckling under high temperatures.

The ramp connecting the Commodore Barry Bridge to I-95 in Chester was temporarily closed Monday after the surface buckled.

It reopened in the evening but was closed for several hours Tuesday while permanent repairs are made.

The bridge is about 10 miles south of Philadelphia, linking the city of Chester to southern New Jersey.
