Police: Stolen van crashes in Philly, teen dead

Police say a 15-year-old boy was killed when a crashed on at Roosevelt Boulevard and Rorer Street around 2:00 a.m. Friday.

Police say they're looking for a second occupant of stolen van that crashed in Philadelphia, killing a teenage boy.

Investigators say the van flipped on the Roosevelt Boulevard early Friday morning then struck a tree, throwing a teenage boy from the vehicle. Officials say he was trapped under the overturned vehicle and died.

Police say another male fled the scene on foot.

The identity of teen killed in the crash wasn't immediately released.

Initial reports from the scene were that the teenager was the driver, but it is no longer clear who was driving.

An investigation into exactly what happened continues.
