The crash happened around 2:30 p.m. Route 896 at Four Seasons Parkway.
Police say a tow truck was making a left hand turn at the intersection when it was hit by the motorcycle, which police say was travelling at a high rate of speed.
The motorcyclist, identified as 23-year-old Johnathan O'Neill of Newark was ejected as the bike burst into flames.
O'Neill was pronounced dead at the scene. Police say they do not believe he was wearing a helmet.
The tow truck driver, 21-year-old Donald Desanctis of Holmes, Pa. was not hurt.
There is no word on any charges as the investigation continues.
