Former Clark County Deputy District Attorney David Schubert's lawyer, William Terry, said Wednesday he expects the 48-year-old Schubert will get probation at sentencing Nov. 17, and will continue drug and alcohol counseling.
Deputy state Attorney General Thom Gover says the agreement reached Sept. 7 is good for all involved.
Gover says it's a felony plea, Schubert's first offense, and the amount of cocaine found in Schubert's car in a March 19 traffic stop was smaller than a penny.
He says Schubert also lost his job as a prosecutor.
