NJ jewelry store burglar caught on tape

GLOUCESTER TWP., N.J. - December 6, 2011

Just after 3:30 a.m. Sunday a woman broke into the Anthony Simon Jewelers on the 1400 block of Blackwood Clementon Road.

Michael Imperato, the store owner, says luckily only some smaller items were taken.

"Couple pen knives, some money clips, cuff links. It was pitch dark in here because our neon light is out in the middle of the night so they couldn't really see much," Imperato said.

Police say at the time of the burglary, the woman was wearing a dark sweater over a white collared shirt, light colored pants with a dark belt and carrying a large backpack.
