Pa. police charge 2 with stealing Christmas gifts

BETHLEHEM, Pa. (AP) - December 9, 2011

Both boys are 16 and live in Bethlehem but police did not release their names because they are charged as juveniles. Both are charged with burglary, trespassing, theft and receiving stolen property.

The Allentown Morning Call reports the boys were sent to the Northampton County Juvenile Detention Center in Easton.

Investigators say the teens knocked on the door of a home Friday and when no one answered, they broke in and stole a video game console, presents, $130 and four bottles of liquor.

Police said they were able to recover one of the Christmas gifts, a purse and the game console.
