Hollywood Buzz: Mary J. Blige, Mission Impossible, Dragon Tattoo

If you felt the presence of music royalty this morning, It's because the queen of hip hop soul was in town! Mary J. Blige stopped in for a chat with WDAS FM's Patty Jackson in Bala Cynwyd, Pa. Mary is promoting her brand new album, "My Life Two". During her visit to Philly, she found out that she is now nominated for a Golden Globe award for best original song. The song, "The Living Proof," is on "The Help" soundtrack. Also, Mary J. Blige stars in the movie Rock of Ages which comes out next year. "Mission Impossible" premiere
Superstar Tom Cruise and co-star Paula Patton delighted fans in Rio de Janeiro for the premiere of "Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol." Cruise told the crowd he took on his own death defying stunts in the film.

"Yeah I did do it," he said. "I wasn't going to let anyone else climb that building. To climb that building in IMAX, that was a dream for me, and I do it because I want to entertain an audience, and to have that on film, it was dangerous, but it was exciting."

"Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol" hits theatres and IMAX Wednesday.

"The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo"
Another big premiere - in the Big Apple - for the new movie "The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo." Star Rooney Mara teams up with Daniel Craig in this much anticipated thriller.

"Daniel's incredible you know? he's such a talented actor, and I don't think we've seen him in a role like this," Mara said. "I think he's just brilliant in it, and he was so generous and patient with me, and I couldn't have asked for a better person to do the movie with."

"The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo" hits theaters Wednesday.
