The shooting occurred shortly after 8:00 p.m. along the 2700 block of West Seltzer Street.
At that time, police began receiving numerous calls about a man being shot on the street.
When officers arrived, they found a 30-year-old man lying on the street suffering from gunshot wounds to the head, chest, and abdomen.
Medics responded and rushed the unidentified victim to Temple University Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
No arrests have been made.
