Spring Garden head-on crash injures three

A driver has been tested for DUI, following an early morning crash in Philadelphia that injured three people.

Police are trying to determine if drunk driving caused an early morning two-car crash in the Spring Garden section of Philadelphia.

The crash injured a man and two women.

Police say that at about 3:00 a.m. on Wednesday the two vehicles slammed into each other head-on at Fifth and Callowhill streets.

Firefighters had to free the two women who were trapped in one of the cars.

Those victims, 27 and 28 years old, were rushed to Hahnemann Hospital, where they are now in stable condition.

The man who was driving the other car is also in stable condition.

Police are trying to find out if he was driving under the influence.
