3-alarm blaze destroys homes in Chester

CHESTER, Pa. - June 7, 2012

Flames broke out just past 1:00 a.m. on the 300 block of Taylor Terrace.

The fire started in one rowhome and spread to neighboring houses.

Everyone was able to escape the burning homes safely, and crews managed to save a cat from the flames.

In all, four homes were destroyed - two of those homes were occupied.

The Red Cross is assisting ten people from two families.

Investigators are looking into the cause of the fire.
