Kristine Hendrickson, 32, was charged for the stabbing at her home in the 100 block of Madison Drive around 11:30 p.m.
Investigators say Hendrickson and the victim, a 34-year-old man, got into an argument at the home they shared with their two children, ages 11 and 13.
During the argument, police said, Hendrickson stabbed the man in his left torso before fleeing.
The victim was taken to the hospital to be treated for a non-life-threatening injury.
Police say the stabbing was witnessed by their two children, who not harmed. Both are in the care of family members.
Hendrickson was arrested after she returned home Friday morning, police said. She is being held on $52,000 bail.
