Waterloo-based KWWL-TV announced Wednesday night that the subpoena requests "raw video interviews" of last week's interviews with Misty Morrissey and Wylma Cook.
The subpoena from Black Hawk County Attorney Thomas Ferguson says the footage is needed so his office can conduct a "complete investigation" into the disappearance of 10-year-old Lyric Cook and 8-year-old Elizabeth Collins. It says the station "may have knowledge" of a crime.
The girls disappeared July 13 in the Waterloo suburb of Evansdale.
During the KWWL-TV interview, Lyric's mother Misty Morrissey explained why she had stopped cooperating with investigators, saying she had been treated harshly by police.
