The NFL announced Wednesday that McNabb will be joining the broadcast team for their network's "Playbook" program.
"Playbook" airs two back-to-back editions, NFC and AFC respectively, Friday nights beginning at 8:00 p.m.
The former star quarterback joins Sterling Sharpe and Brian Baldinger on the program.
The six-time Pro Bowl passer joins former players LaDainian Tomlinson, Darren Sharper and Shaun O'Hara at the network, the NFL announced.
McNabb spent 11 seasons with the Philadelphia Eagles including their 2004 NFC Championship season.
He also spent a year with both the Washington Redskins and Minnesota Vikings.
