The shooting happened around midnight on the 200 block of Shadeland Avenue.
Police say, an unidentified man was shot in his car which ended up off the road and onto a bike path.
The victim was rushed to the hospital in serious condition.
Both police and K-9 units were on the scene investigating the incident.
