The crash happened around 5:00 a.m. on the shoulder of I-295 in Burlington Township.
Officials say the driver of an SUV died after slamming into the back of a truck that was broken down on the highway.
There are no reports of any other injuries.
All lanes are now open after police had closed down the center lanes while removing the accident.
The identity of the victim has not been released.
