The accident happened in the 7400 block of South DuPont Highway just after 11:00 a.m.
Police say 22-year-old Carlot Stinvil was driving south on DuPont Highway when he lost control of his car, striking a mailbox and wooden fence before going airborne and crashing into a house.
Police say three people were inside the residence at the time of the crash. A 55-year-old woman was taken to Kent General Hospital with non-life threatening injuries. The other two adults were uninjured.
The driver was also transported to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries. Police say he is facing a number of charges including driving without a valid license, driving without proof of insurance and inattentive driving.
The home was condemned by the Kent County Codes department due to structural damage.
