Authorities say Christopher Hallman of Boyertown was riding his bicycle with a group of people Sunday on Mount Penn when the accident happened.
Officials say he apparently tried to ramp over a rock on a trail, but fell off his bike and landed on his head.
The Reading Eagles reports Hallman suffered multiple injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.
