78 cows killed in Berks County barn blaze

CENTRE TWP., Pa. - November 15, 2012

The fire broke out around 4:30 p.m. Wednesday at Barry Good's Farm in Centre Township.

Farmers were trying to get dairy cows out of the burning barn, but the animals just panicked. Eventually, the roof of the barn collapsed.

Action News learned overnight that the fire killed about 78 cows.

Investigators still don't know how the fire started.

No humans were hurt.
