The accident happened around 6:30 a.m. at the intersection of West Main and Forrest Avenue.
According to police, the victim was flown to the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania in serious condition.
The driver of the car involved stopped and heavy windshield damage was visible from the accident.
There were no other injuries and police are investigating.
