The accident happened at 12:30 p.m. Tuesday on Market Street near the Route 1 overpass.
Police say the truck driver was taking the jug handle off Market Street toward Barlow Street.
As he was making the turn, police say a man in a motorized wheelchair was caught underneath the trailer and run over.
The names of those involved have not been released.
No charges have been filed so far.
