Suspect sought in Kensington shooting

Philadelphia police are seeing the public's help identifying a suspect they believe shot a 40-year-old man in Upper Kensington last week.

Police say the victim was walking on the 300 block of Westmoreland Street on Thursday, March 28th when he was approached from behind and shot twice by an unknown man.

He suffered gunshot wounds to the head and to the back, leaving him in critical condition.

The suspect is described as a 20 to 25-year-old man, possibly Hispanic, with a thin build. He was last seen wearing a dark colored hooded sweatshirt with a light colored design and blue jeans.
