But a Montana woman has put herself and others in jeopardy twice - first by riding a horse while intoxicated, followed by driving while under the influence.
A local newspaper reports that 43-year-old Dawnalee Ellis-Peterson was arraigned on the felony DUI charge this past Friday.
She also pleaded not guilty to driving without a license of insurance.
Prosecutors say she was "extremely intoxicated" the morning of April 29 as she rode a horse on a Billings street.
Officers checked her out and let her go home.
But soon afterward, a neighbor called reported Ellis-Peterson had driven off in a pickup truck.
Police tracked her down.
Ellis-Peterson has previous DUI convictions in 1993, 1997 and 2007.
