Workers hit gas main in Bristol, Pa.

Construction workers hit a gas main in Bristol, Bucks County causing major traffic delays in the area.

According to PECO, workers struck a 2-inch plastic natural gas service line in the 6300 block of Bristol Pike.

The incident happened around 10:00 a.m. Monday and PECO workers were able to make repairs by 11:15 a.m.

One customer was affected, but they are now back up and running.

No evacuations were ordered and no injuries were reported.
