$4,000 in damages in Toms River tire slashings

Authorities say that tires were slashed on more than a dozen vehicles in Toms River, New Jersey, causing thousands of dollars worth of damages.

It happened sometime Saturday night into Sunday morning.

Many of the cars were parked in the parking lot of AMG Motors service center on the 500 block of Fischer Boulevard. Others were parked on Oceanic and Beach View Drive.

One of the vehicles also had a Swastika symbol engraved on it.

The victims' estimate their loss at more than $4,000.

Police are attempting to get survellience video from nearby.
