Around 11:00 Sunday morning, police arrived at the Howard Johnson Inn on the 6000 block of Black Horse Pike.
Authorities say hotel staff had discovered the body of Kaneil Harris.
According to investigators, Harris was fatally shot in the hallway.
Police have not released many other details.
No charges have been filed.
