Thanksgiving crashes leave 2 dead in Morris County, New Jersey

Two Thanksgiving car crashes have left two people dead and four injured in Morris County, New Jersey.

New Jersey state police say 12 people were riding eastbound in a commuter vehicle Thursday night on Interstate 80 in Mount Olive around 9 p.m. when it turned over. A woman was killed and four others were injured.

Police say the vehicle may have been cut off before it flipped. An investigation is continuing.

Earlier in the day, a 55-year-old Hunterdon County woman was killed when her car hit a tree in Long Valley around 4:30 a.m.
