The robbery occurred at approximately 3:20 p.m. Monday at the PNC Bank located at 1801 Market Street.
Police say the suspect entered the bank and showed a demand note to a teller.
After obtaining an undisclosed amount of cash, the suspect fled the area of the bank.
The suspect is described as a white male in his late 20s to early 30s, approximately 5'7 to 5'9, with a thin build. He was wearing a gray hooded jacket over a black hooded sweatshirt, a black Phillies cap, and blue jeans.
The suspect is considered armed and dangerous.
